Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatment services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including wearing a photo identification badge at all times while on site
• Present a valid state or federal issued photo identification upon arrival at the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Mexico or eligibility for licensure
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Ability to fulfill a 15-week contract assignment
• Must provide a valid state or federal issued photo identification prior to beginning work

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy role
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments and patient populations
