FTR Strategist

We’re looking for a Senior FTR Modeling Analyst to join our team and help drive congestion analysis, market data sourcing, and FTR valuation. This role is a great fit for someone who has real hands‑on experience in power market modeling, understands what ISO/RTO data is available and how to use it effectively, and can turn that work into practical trading insight. We’re a strong team with a proven track record, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of that. What You’ll Do Build congestion models to anticipate bottlenecks and understand their impact on FTR value. Improve trade selection by identifying FTR paths with stronger historical or expected performance. Develop scenario analysis around generation changes, load growth, transmission upgrades, and regulatory developments. Understand how auction mechanics, settlement logic, and congestion drivers work together in live markets. Help separate what the market data shows from what is actually useful for modeling and decision‑making. Core Areas FTR and congestion modeling. ISO/RTO data sourcing and mapping.
