Overview Vibra Hospital of SE Massachusetts, located in New Bedford, MA, is a 90-bed critical care hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. The hospital seeks Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team for 8 and 12 hour shifts. Hospital Details Vibra Hospital is a specialized facility focusing on trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The environment is fast-paced and friendly, allowing caregivers to build lasting relationships with patients and families. Responsibilities Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living. Support licensed nursing personnel by providing and documenting care, maintaining a clean and safe environment. Employ basic infection control procedures and basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor. Current valid certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant / Nursing Aide in the state of employment (preferred). Experience or enrollment in a nursing program with at least one clinical rotation (preferred). Acute care/LTAC experience (preferred). Professional image, knowledge of regulatory standards, strong organizational and analytical skills. Independent decision-making when warranted. Computer proficiency with essential software applications. No illegal drug or alcohol use in the workplace.
