Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time Civita Care Center at Sheridan Woods | Bristol, CT $33–$36/hour | Full-Time | Benefits Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Civita Care Center at Sheridan Woods. This role offers the opportunity to provide hands‑on therapy while helping residents build strength, improve mobility, and work toward greater independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment. What You'll Do Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, transfers, and functional mobility Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and rehabilitation goals Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT Reinforce exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies with residents and caregivers Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team What We Offer $33–$36/hour Full‑time position Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and holiday pay Continuing education support Supportive and collaborative rehabilitation team Short-term rehabilitation and long-term care caseload Opportunities for professional growth Qualifications Active Connecticut PTA license required Strong communication and teamwork skills Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply If you're a PTA looking for an opportunity to help residents make meaningful progress while growing alongside a supportive rehabilitation team, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Post Rehabilitation Services
