EHS and Compliance Manager Lead the environmental, health, and safety organization on site, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and Haleon’s internal standards. Responsibilities Monitor & report EHS performance, share best practices across the site and regional supply chain. Align site EHS objectives with the corporate EHS plan and priorities. Investigate EHS accidents and high‑potential incidents; identify and implement corrective and preventive actions, including human‑factor considerations. Address audit and inspection findings, closing gaps and mitigating EHS risks. Drive continuous improvement of the site’s safety culture and encourage safe behaviours. Integrate Haleon policies, standards, and the Internal Control Framework into a site‑specific management system for holistic EHS risk management. Manage the EHS department budget. Prepare, implement, and execute crisis‑management and business‑continuity plans, ensuring loss‑prevention processes are in place. Coordinate environmental management to reduce the manufacturing site’s environmental impact. Collaborate with shared services (Quality, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, HR, IT, Procurement, etc.) to embed EHS in site strategy, risk‑mapping, and business‑continuity planning. Develop relationships with EHS professionals across sites, sharing best practices and fostering staff development. Maintain adequate, qualified EHS staff and support their development for succession planning. Promote total disclosure of EHS regulatory compliance, audit results, and incidents throughout the organization. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, communicating persuasively and ethically. Lead and develop direct‑report EHS staff members. Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards, including Data Integrity, ALCOA, cGMP, and QA requirements. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, Occupational Safety, or a related field. Experience managing EHS risks in the FMCG, pharmaceutical, or a high‑hazard sector. At least 10 years in the EHS field. Minimum 4 years of managerial experience. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree. Membership in a recognized professional organization (e.g., ASSP, AIHA). Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). Other related engineering certifications. Knowledge of EHS tracking databases such as EHS One. Strong relationship‑building and networking skills. Salary range: $133,171 to $183,110.40 plus a 12% performance bonus.
