Job Description

Design digital user interfaces or websites. Conduct exceptional user experience research and provide high-quality insights to help discover, innovate, identify, and validate ideas through collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, recruit for and conduct mixed-methods research methodologies, and communicate findings to the stakeholders. Translate findings into actionable recommendations and advocate research findings to diverse audiences via presentations or async documentation. Advocate for user-centered design, aligning design decisions with user needs and business goals. Actively contribute to the optimization of UX research processes and workflows to improve research efficiency. Collaborate with Product Design, Product and Development to identify and prioritize research opportunities. Plan and execute mixed methods of user-centered research, including generative interviews, concept-testing, surveys, evaluative unmoderated studies, and usability testing. Communicate results, translating findings into actionable recommendations and advocating research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations. Actively participate in projects and recurring team meetings. Contribute to the optimization of UX research processes and workflows to improve research efficiency. Telecommuting permitted.

Job Requirements

Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design or in a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

Special Requirements

Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills:

• Mixed methods research execution using qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques, including usability testing, user interviews, and surveys;
• Participant recruitment management through execution of end-to-end recruitment workflows, including screener development and participant sourcing for targeted research studies;
• Research objective scoping by translating business and product requirements into technical research plans and measurable objectives;
• Data analysis and synthesis involving processing of raw qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and evidence-based design recommendations;
• Presentation and documentation tools utilization to deliver research findings using slide-based presentation software or asynchronous documentation platforms such as Confluence, Notion, or specialized research repositories;
• UX Research tool orchestration through configuration and administration of remote and in-person UX Research tools to execute moderated and unmoderated research studies; and
• Workflow optimization through implementation of UX Research operations (Research Ops) to standardize processes and improve research efficiency across cross-functional teams.
