Independence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Arbor Village in Kent, and Solstice at Pointe Defiance in Tacoma , both very well-regarded assisted living facilities.

About the RoleAs a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll split time between Pointe Defiance and Arbor Village on an outpatient basis, working collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life.
SNF Practice HighlightsTreat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients
Perform and assist with all types of transfers
Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice
Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team

Current Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in good standing
Associate degree from an accredited OTA program

One year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply
