About the Role:
Uplift and Inspire is looking for a passionate and dedicated Life Coach (Direct Support Professional) to join our team in West Chester, PA. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others by providing hands-on support, encouragement, and guidance every single day. Schedule: 10am - 4pm, Tuesday and Thursday
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and personalized care to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and personal growth
- Offer emotional support, mentorship, and life coaching to empower clients toward their goals
- Document client progress, incidents, and daily activities accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
- Facilitate community integration activities and social skill-building opportunities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; degree in human services, psychology, or related field preferred
- Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), caregiver, or life coach is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to pass background checks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Genuine commitment to uplifting and advocating for individuals in your care
