Survey Technician II - Fort Worth, TX Halff has an immediate opening for a Survey Technician with 5+ years of experience as a Survey Technician to work in our Fort Worth office. What You Will Do Organizing survey research for field to include deeds, plats, and easements. Reducing field observations. Preparing data for drafting. Preparing legal descriptions. Assisting the RPLS by preparing Survey Reports. Preparing COGO calculations. Assisting the RPLS with the Boundary Analysis. TxDOT production (Parcel Exhibits, ROW Maps). What You Will Need 5+ years of experience as a Survey Technician. Experience in producing survey maps and plats. Experience in preparing legal descriptions. TxDOT experience creating Parcel Exhibits and ROW maps. Experience with MicroStation V8i, Geopak, and Open Roads Design. Survey Technician Preferred Requirements SIT or CSR I, II, or III certification is desired, but not required. Previous field experience as a surveyor is a plus. Public Works or Land Development survey technician experience is a plus. Experience with Trimble Business Center. High level of education is a plus (Associate's degree in Land Survey or Bachelor's degree in Land Survey and/or Geospatial Sciences). AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.
