Our customers span a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment.Who we are looking forWe are seeking a Buyer Planner L2 to take ownership of material planning and purchasing in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, this high-impact role will empower you to own material availability and shortage resolution across multiple value streams ensuring production never stops. This role is 100% on site.What you get to doAs the Buyer Planner L2, you'll drive planning decisions using ERP/MRP systems to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations while managing supplier performance, resolving shortages proactively, and balancing inventory with service requirements. You'll lead cross-functional collaboration by partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service to meet business objectives. This role requires independent problem-solving skills as you identify and mitigate supply chain risks before they impact production, and you'll have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement by enhancing planning and procurement processes to support our growing business.This position offers exceptional growth opportunities in a growing organization with room for advancement. This is ideal for supply chain professionals who thrive in operational roles, enjoy problem-solving, and want to grow with a business that's scaling up.What you bring to the Team5-7 years of experience in purchasing, planning, supply chain, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems to manage planning and procurement activities.Experience supporting manufacturing operations and production scheduling requirements.Proven ability to manage suppliers, resolve shortages, and maintain supply continuity.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution with minimal supervision.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Reads and understands complex written technical documents, proposals, business communications.Speaks and writes fluently English and persuasively across different professional settings.Tailors communication style for different audiences.Able to edit and review others' written work for clarity, grammar, and tone.Applies ratios, proportions, and basic algebra. Interprets charts, graphs, and simple data sets.
