Position Summary Moorings Park is seeking a dedicated and talented Scheduling Supervisor to join our team. The Scheduler Supervisor oversees the scheduling process, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely completion of tasks. They manage a team of schedulers, develop schedules, and resolve scheduling conflicts, while also maintaining client consistency and utilizing caregivers according to training and ability. The Scheduler Supervisor provides support to the Assistant Administrator or Office Manager.

Key Contributions

• Leads and mentors a team of schedulers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance 
• Monitors and maintains overtime with scheduling caregivers per set budget 
• Utilizes the scheduling application for completing long schedules and caregiver communication as needed 
• Manual tracking of visits as needed 
• Schedules VIP assistants according to training and ability 
• Provides support to the Assistant Administrator/Office Manager by performing batching of visits for payroll and billing 
• Assumes payroll processing for Private Duty in the absence of the Assistant Administrator or Office Manager 
• Assist with preparing and processing Long Term Care Insurance Documentation 
• Ensures on-call coverage and prepares on-call monthly calendar 
• Ensures adherence to agency policies and procedures related to scheduling, including state and CHAP regulations 
• Assumes responsibility for On-Call in the absence of the On-Call Coordinator 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required.
• During emergencies or natural disasters, may be required to remain on duty for the duration of the event.
• High School diploma or equivalent

• Minimum three years of experience with scheduling, preferably in healthcare or home care
