Details\n \n Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department with Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department designations \n Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM \n Required to work 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4-week schedule, potentially 1-3 days per weekend \n Floating required, including possible float to Pediatrics \n No on-call responsibilities \n Patient ratios typically 1:5-6, with potential to increase to 1:8 depending on patient volume and holidays \n Epic EMR used for charting \n Requirements\n \n Active MI RN license required by start date (compact license not accepted) \n Minimum 2 years of ER experience required \n Level I trauma center experience required \n Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIHSS \n ENPC certification preferred \n Epic charting experience required \n Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias \n Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration preferred \n Triage experience preferred \n Certifications must be complete and active prior to contract start \n Additional Information\n \n Provide emergency care across a combined adult/pediatric ER population, including trauma, stroke, and cardiac cases \n Responsibilities may include care for gunshot wounds, traumatic amputations, traumatic brain injuries, and other high-acuity trauma cases \n Complete pre-start training modules as part of onboarding \n Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers \n First-time travelers may be considered for this position \n Returning core staff must wait 12 months before reapplying \n RTO must be submitted at time of application, with no additional RTO approved afterward \n No RTO permitted on 10/31 or between 12/18-12/28 \n Maximum RTO allowance is 5 days per assignment \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-756482.
