This role involves deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting security tools, managing IT and vendor risk, monitoring system performance, and implementing security best practices. This position works closely with other security engineers, IT teams, and business units to enforce security policies, respond to incidents, remediate security vulnerabilities, and support compliance with regulatory requirements. "This position is eligible to work remotely, hybrid or onsite in accordance with our Telecommuting Policy. Applicants must reside in Kansas or Missouri or be willing to relocate as a condition of employment." What you'll do
• Administer and maintain servers, networks, and other IT systems to ensure optimal performance. ```{=html}

• Provide technical support for users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. ```{=html}

• Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures. ```{=html}

• Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access control and security compliance. ```{=html}

• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement software and system upgrades or enhancements. ```{=html}

• Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and other relevant information for team use. ```{=html}

• Assist with network management, ensuring seamless connectivity across the organization. ```{=html}

• Respond to system alerts and perform root cause analysis on issues to prevent recurrence. ```{=html}

• Manage cloud-based infrastruc ure and services (if applicable), ensuring integration with on-premises systems. ```{=html}

• Must be accessible via mobile services (i.e. text, voice, data)

during non-working hours for upgrades, system outages, and configuration changes.

What you need Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Experience working with network and application vulnerability scanners. ```{=html}

• Capable of communicating directly with all areas of the company regarding vulnerabilities and risk. ```{=html}

• Ability to lead monthly patch management meetings and follow-up meetings to ensure patches for servers and endpoints are being implemented timely. ```{=html}
