Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,783–$2,953 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (Fri–Sun 7:00 PM–7:30 AM EST) with holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs Start date: 08/03/2026 Setting: hospital CT imaging department Note: A special rate of $135 applies for starting by 6/22 Responsibilities Confirm patient identity and exam order; verify details and unit protocols prior to scanning Prepare patients, explain the procedure, obtain IV access when needed, and position patients for CT scans Operate CT equipment (Philips or Siemens preferred), perform imaging per protocol, and administer contrast as required Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after contrast administration; follow orientation to complete injection therapy certification if not already on license Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and ensure images are transferred to PACS correctly; uphold accurate patient records Maintain a clean, safe scanning area and adhere to radiation safety and infection control practices Coordinate with radiologists and physicians to support diagnostic imaging needs; participate in on-call shifts (2–3 per month) and weekend/holiday coverage per unit requirements Requirements NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (must obtain prior to starting) Completion of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology program; ARRT Certification (Radiography) required; ARRT CT certification preferred Injection therapy certification stated on NYS license at time of submission (or willingness to complete during orientation) Minimum 2 years of CT or radiology experience; Level I Trauma Center experience preferred BLS certification (American Heart Association) Telemetry experience required or strongly preferred Ability to work in a hospital setting, including night shifts; knowledge of Philips and Siemens imaging equipment preferred Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract Credentialing and onboarding assistance Potential extension opportunities Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
