May perform non‑direct patient‑care activities as assigned, requested, or directed, including but not limited to stocking and clerical activities. Job Responsibilities Performs and documents basic patient‑care tasks under the direct supervision of an RN, maintaining competency and completing assigned tasks within required timeframes and seeking clarification when needed. Maintains a safe environment, reports safety hazards, completes safety event reports, complies with infection‑control policies, and corrects identified hazards. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and co‑workers, reporting patient‑related information and problems in a timely manner and collaborating with all members of the health‑care team.
