Your Future Role At A GlanceLocation: Hoffman Estates, ILFacility: Ascension Saint AlexiusDepartment: EndoscopySchedule: Day shift | Part-timeHow You'll Make An Impact In This RoleProvide direct, hands-on nursing care across pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure support, and PACU recovery, maintaining high safety standards while participating in an on-call rotation alongside standard daytime shift schedules.Serve as the central clinical contact who coordinates seamlessly with physicians, anesthesia teams, pathology, and support staff to execute treatment plans, manage diagnostic specimens, and keep procedural rooms running efficiently.Monitor patient conditions continuously, communicate real-time clinical updates using the SBAR framework, and assess post-sedation recovery to deliver clear discharge instructions and guarantee safe patient transitions.What Minimum Requirements You'll NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
