Work Environment

Situated within a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, our facility is designed to provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff. Our standard hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a well-structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and progress.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies to improve mobility, strength, and overall function, ensuring alignment with Rethink's values of integrity and quality.
• Monitor patient progress diligently and adjust treatment programs as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Coordinate care collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and community resources to address all aspects of the patient's rehabilitation.
• Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on exercise techniques, injury prevention, and wellness practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with NJ State Practice Act and ensure adherence to professional ethical standards.
• Take on additional tasks as requested to support the clinic's goals and objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Your experience with orthopedic physical rehabilitation will enable you to effectively assess and treat conditions related to post-operative recovery, chronic pain, sports injuries, and mobility issues. You will be responsible for creating a supportive environment that fosters trust and encourages patient engagement in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing direct physical therapy services.
• Familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation practices and methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to assess and adapt treatment plans based on demographic factors, including age and specific health conditions.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years in professional practice is required, candidates with specialized training in manual therapy techniques, advanced therapeutic modalities, or experience with specific orthopedic conditions will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
