Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role

As the largest provider of PHP/IOP programs and psychiatric services in Illinois, Compass Health Center is one of the fastest-growing behavioral health organizations in the country. We are thrilled to expand our exceptionally innovative and highly distinguished programs that redefine our industry and raise the standard for comprehensive care. Launching in late 2025, our newest location in Golden Valley, MN, will be home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers will build our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians and doctors working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate direct patient care to all of our populations. If you are passionate about providing your patients with exemplary care, while being sensitive to their individual psychiatric conditions, you would be a great addition to our team. In partnership with the rest of the Golden Valley team, you will play a key role in building and shaping a strong culture at the location.

What You'll Do

1. Medication administration
2. Nursing Assessments
3. Measuring & recording vitals
4. Phone triage
5. Performing basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies
6. Maintaining medication inventory
7. Recording patient history and medical findings
8. Assisting providers with writing laboratory orders and retrieving results
9. Assisting with the completion of medical documentation for patients and their families
10. Coordinating with insurance companies for medication and diagnostic prior authorizations
11. Assisting providers with prescription refills
12. Specimen collection
13. Provide support & assistance to the organization's committees
14. Provide support and assistance during crisis or emergency situations

Who You Are

• Hold a BSN degree (preferred) or LPN
• Are a Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice in Illinois
• Are certified in Healthcare Provider CPR
• Have a minimum of 1 year of Hospital Experience (preferred)
• Have experience in mental health (preferred)
• Possess excellent therapeutic communication skills

Compensation

$28 - $35 USD
