This hands-on role involves preparing, cutting, and shaping metal components for production, while safely operating equipment and maintaining quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate plasma cutting machines, track torches, and beveling equipmentRun saws to cut metal components accuratelyPrepare and process pipe, plate, and structural steel for fabricationOperate forklifts and overhead cranes as neededFollow all safety procedures and shop policiesMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient work areaCollaborate with welders, fitters, and supervisors to meet production goalsRequirementsExperience running plasma cutters, track torches, or beveling equipmentAbility to operate saws and process metal accuratelyForklift and/or overhead crane experience a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to lift, bend, and work in a shop environmentPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a fabrication or production shopExperience with structural steel or pipe processingGet paid whenever you need with wages on-demand via ZayZoon.
