Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Pharmacist position is available in Houston, TX, offering a contract to hire opportunity starting July 15th. This role involves providing long-term care pharmacy services and requires working Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and dispense medications accurately for long-term care patients
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, and interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid Texas Pharmacist license
- Recent experience in a pharmacist role, ideally with exposure to long-term care settings
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, medication management, and patient care protocols
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
