Experienced Agronomy Sales Rep

Experienced Agronomy Sales Reps GPAC has partnered with a well‑established California based agricultural company under new management. They are expanding statewide and looking for highly motivated sales representatives who can drive customer success and field nutrition programs. The company designs, delivers, measures, and continuously refines field‑specific nutrition programs throughout the season. They integrate agronomy, technology, chemistry, and data into a single operating system that works daily year‑round. Their portfolio includes continuous fertigation systems, micro irrigation water treatment, and a variety of foliar sprays aimed at improving crop yields and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Facilitate and maintain positive long‑term relationships with customers to promote repeat business Make fertilizer and fertility recommendations to growers and farmers Develop and execute sales plans to meet territory goals Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions Forecast supply requirements Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services Qualifications 3+ years of experience in agronomic sales A bachelor’s degree or higher in an agricultural related field Current CCA certificate Proven leadership, decision‑making, and communication skills Self‑motivated with the ability to manage a territory and prioritize tasks Ability to work independently and with a team Effective communication with grower advisors Strong agronomic knowledge and passion for working directly with growers Excellent communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills Ability to provide professional references Must currently reside in the region and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license Company benefits include competitive salaries, residual commissions, health insurance, 401(k), a company vehicle, laptop, cell phone, PTO, and more.
