Lawn Care Spray Technician

Lawn Care TechnicianAngelo's Landscape Group is seeking an experienced individual for the Lawn Care Technician position. The Lawn Care Technician mixes & applies pesticides, fertilizer, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides on customers' trees, shrubs, and turf grass areas.Duties/Responsibilities:Safely handle, measure, mix, and apply fertilizers and chemical pesticidesFollow a route schedule and complete work in an efficient and safe mannerDiagnose and treat problems on lawns and shrubsReport on specific landscape conditions and treatments madeDrive and maintain company provided vehicle and equipmentPerform other related duties as assigned.Required Skills and Abilities for the Job:Valid Driver's License with a clean driving recordWilling to learn in a fast-paced environmentDetail orientedCustomer service oriented and excellent communication skillsEducation and Experience:High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) RequiredBachelor degree in related field (Horticulture, Turf Grass Management, etc.) PreferredMinimum 2 years of professional experience as lawn care or pest applicator.Louisiana license for Pesticide Application PreferredPhysical Requirements:Good physical condition/stamina.Ability to lift heavy objects of 50+ pounds.Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
