Distribution Specialist

The Distribution Specialist is an exciting opportunity in the Supply Chain Operations team responsible for monitoring and assuring that supply and patient care equipment are maintained and available for use. This role directly contributes to ensuring excellent health‑care experiences for MultiCare patients and families. FTE & Schedule FTE: 1.0 | Shift: Variable | Schedule: 8‑hour shifts Position Summary As a Distribution Specialist, you will verify materials and receipt documentation against purchase orders, coordinate with purchasing personnel to resolve discrepancies, process supplies and materials for return to vendors or other facilities, and maintain inventory within the designated storeroom. Responsibilities Verify materials and receipt documentation against purchase orders and inputs purchase order receipts. Coordinate with purchasing personnel to resolve purchase order or receipt discrepancies. Package and process supplies and materials being returned to vendors or other facilities and coordinate shipping. Supply store stocks within its designated distribution storeroom location. Requirements High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Minimum two (2) years of experience in receiving, distribution of products, warehousing, storekeeping, hospital Central Service or inventory control preferred (or a combination of knowledge and education that would exhibit the qualifications to execute the duties of the position). Computer input/keyboard experience desired. Computerized materials management system experience preferred. Experience using electronic signature software preferred. Basic experience in PC business applications including MS Word and Excel. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $23.02 - $35.00 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience and education.
