Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Hamlet, North Carolina Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Hamlet, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in a public school setting, working to improve communication skills and support academic success. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results and students' needs. Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to parents and school staff. Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' progress and goals. Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current North Carolina licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Professional Educator's License with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working in a school setting is preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements Valid North Carolina SLP license. ASHA CCC-SLP certification. NCDPI Professional Educator's License in Speech-Language Pathology. Background check and clearance to work in North Carolina public schools.
