Our client is seeking a dependable Assembly Worker associate to join their production team in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality finished products. The Assembly Worker role is responsible for finishing laminated cabinet and fixture components, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work area to support efficient production.


The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to quality are the keys to success in this Assembly Worker position.


Key Responsibilities

• Use hand files to smooth and finish laminated edges on completed cabinets and fixtures.
• Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform minor finish repairs to cabinet and fixture surfaces as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Communicate any quality or production concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8-10 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing facility that is not climate-controlled during the summer months.
• Ability to work around wood dust, glue, naphtha, and acetone while following all required safety procedures.
• Frequent gripping and repetitive hand movements using consistent, controlled pressure throughout the shift.
