As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a professional presence to help deter incidents. You will communicate with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while supporting smooth site operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor and control access to the facility, including checking credentials, verifying authorized visitors and drivers, and maintaining visitor and vehicle entry records. Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, contractors, delivery drivers, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures to help protect the flow of shipments and property. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter; document security-related observations and activities. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
