Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Nursing License Certifications: Basic Life Support Must-Have: GYN, Urology, General, Robotics & Ortho experience Ability to take call Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The facility has a total of 7 operating room suites. The staff consists of approximately 30 members, including surgical technologists, nurses, aides, and leadership. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1 for optimal care. Various equipment is utilized based on surgical specialties. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Preferred candidates will have experience with robotics in gynecology, urology, and general surgeries. Typical procedures performed include cystoscopy, breast surgeries, knee scopes, and total joint replacements. We are looking for a team player who demonstrates flexibility in their work. The unit follows established guidelines and policies to ensure safe and effective patient care. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff. This assignment offers a collaborative environment with experienced professionals.
