Our banking client, is seeking a Sr Product Owner to join their team. As a Sr Product Owner, you will be part of the Data Warehouse product team supporting Global Commercial and Business Banking. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

This Sr PO would support data sourcing, modeling, and potentially use workstreams for a Data Lakehouse project which will provide data products and insights for Global Commercial Banking use cases. MUST have the following:
-strong hands on data migration / data modeling experience
-understanding datasets, user journey modeling, and AI tools
-documenting requirements as user stories
-hands-on involvement in Agile ceremonies

Location: New York City - hybrid (open to Charlotte as well)

Type: Contract (long-term)

Pay Range: 70-75/hr W2

• Drive sprint and release plans in collaboration with Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, and Feature Lead.
• Create and communicate an ambitious product vision to gain buy-in from stakeholders.
• Manage the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Overcommunicate with business and technology partners about risks, issues, and priorities.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure software stability.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of experience in Agile methodology, preferably in a Business Analyst/Product Owner role.
• Ability to create EPICs, user stories, and wireframes to convey ideas effectively.
• Strong understanding of business process redesign concepts and technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with tools like Rally and JIRA for Agile project management.
