Location: Phoenix, AZ 85012
Job Type: Contract – 5 Months, with possibility of extension
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr on W2
Work Arrangement: Onsite; potential for hybrid schedule based on business needs

Job Summary

We are seeking a Federal Benefits Specialist to support the management and administration of federal benefits for dependent youth. The ideal candidate will have experience with benefits eligibility, case management, social services, or government assistance programs and be comfortable managing a high-volume caseload while maintaining accurate records and meeting compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor a caseload of dependent youth receiving Social Security, Veterans, or Railroad Retirement benefits.
• Review and maintain accurate case information, documentation, and benefit records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal benefit program requirements and state regulations.
• Manage a high-volume caseload, potentially up to 300 cases, while meeting deadlines and service standards.
• Research and resolve benefit-related issues and maintain accurate data for reporting and audits.
• Coordinate with internal teams and relevant agencies regarding benefits, eligibility, and case information.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in benefits administration, eligibility determination, case management, social services, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Social Security, Veterans benefits, Railroad Retirement, or other public assistance programs is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a large caseload and prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with case management systems and maintaining confidential records is preferred.
