Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Cardiopulmonary

Respiratory Therapy Position

RRT is preferred, but CRT registered respiratory tech will be considered. This position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus. The role involves setting up and operating various respiratory therapy equipment for patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory diseases and illnesses.

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or GED, graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Experience: One year of acute care experience.
• License/Certification:
• Current Arkansas respiratory license in good standing.
• Registered by the NBRC or eligible by being a graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• BLS required.
• Preferred education: Associates degree, ACLS certification, ACCS certification, PALS, NRP.

Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing medical marijuana.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions.
• Must move about freely and stand and walk for extended periods of time, respond quickly to emergencies, occasionally bend, squat, and twist, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull rolling equipment up to 400 pounds using proper body mechanics.
• Will spend eight hours or more in front of a computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing a keyboard and/or mouse.
• Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity.
• Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.

Work Environment: Clinical setting in hospital environment for both inpatients and outpatients.
