Mechanical Design Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team in Manassas, VA. This hybrid position requires travel to the client site as needed, in addition to remote work. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the project team to execute tasks and build client relationships on site. Your responsibilities will include tracking and assigning points of connection (POC) for services off the main distribution for the facility. You will be part of a team managing these connections, addressing the client's highest priorities. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in our fast-paced environment. Additional duties and projects may be assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings
• Manage databases
• Review TSR information and input data into the database or reach out to appropriate disciplines for missing information to prepare for meetings
• Review Bluebeam sessions and make appropriate mark-ups to prepare for meetings
• Communicate with appropriate personnel to obtain additional information needed for database data
• Create laminated streamers for tagging in the field
• Conduct fieldwork, including hanging laminated streamers, verifying point of connections (POCs) availability, checking if laterals are installed, and verifying locations of laterals, POCs, and VMBs

Qualifications

• Experience working with complex databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of organization and professionalism
• Proficient in office programs, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote
• Ability to travel as needed

Ideally, you will also have:

• Familiarity with semiconductor design and/or construction
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and a drive to broaden your knowledge base
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in various teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
• Exposure to Mechanical, Electrical, and Process systems in manufacturing
• Familiarity with Facilities Operations & Engineering to implement and refine facilities capacity model
