The Painter 2 performs cosmetic applications and related repairs on all Pebble Beach Company buildings and facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist maintenance crew whenever needed.
• Paint and maintain all painted surfaces at all resort buildings and facilities.
• Refinish all woodwork, including building floors, trim, paneling and furniture.
• Participate in on-going maintenance program, performing cosmetic repairs to rooms, halls and service areas, along with the Engineers.
• Ensure that all materials and supplies needed for a given task are on hand; request needed materials in a timely manner.
• Ability to mix paint tints and sheens to match particular colors.
• Move furniture as needed.
• Perform spray painting.
• Suggest appropriate finishes and materials for each task.
• Store solvents and other flammable materials in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Maintain shop and painting equipment in a clean, neat and orderly fashion.
• Ability to hang and repair vinyl and other wall coverings as needed.
• Ability to install drywall, patch holes, tape seams, and texture walls to match.
• Ability to interact with guests in a professional manner that is consistent with Pebble Beach Company standards and values.
• Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies.
• Knows models and integrates Pebble Beach Company culture (mission, values and standards).

Absolutely Required Skills:

• Excellent painting skills, as well as the ability to mix colors and stains.
• Knowledge of all painting materials and their appropriate uses important.
• Must be able to use paint sprayer and other related equipment.
• Ability to work in a neat and orderly way, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
• Minimum 3 years painting experience.
• Drywall and texture experience required.
• Ability to work in a neat and orderly way, maintaining professional appearance at all times.
• Must be able to perform physically active work, including heavy lifting, for an entire shift.
