Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Acute Care travel assignment in Lagrange, GA. Start date 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. 36 hours per week on a 3x12-hour day shift. Responsibilities
- Under supervision of an occupational therapist, implement rehabilitative activities and treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognitive tasks, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
- Monitor patient response to therapy and document progress in the medical record.
- Assist with planning and carrying out individualized therapy programs and participate in multidisciplinary care rounds.
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and patient-centered therapy environment, adhering to regulatory standards and facility policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other health professionals to support optimal functional outcomes.

Requirements
- Active occupational therapy assistant license or eligibility to practice in the appropriate state.
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Experience in an acute care or inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to work under supervision of an OT.
- Availability to commit to the 13-week assignment and to the 3x12-hour shift schedule (36 hours per week).
