University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes, helping to improve their quality of life and promoting independence. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health conditions and needs.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
- Promote a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients as needed.
- Previous experience in home care or direct care is a plus.
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and respectful care.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes in Auburn Hills, MI.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Compensation ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour, paid twice a month.
