Product Marketing SpecialistWe're looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to join our team! The Product Marketing Specialist executes product marketing and content initiatives across our core verticals: Healthcare, Politics, and Public Affairs. This position reports to the Head of Marketing and is a key player in building out the company's content library, clearly communicating the value of our platform and data offerings, and equipping the sales teams with the materials they need to effectively position our solutions and drive growth.Essential Functions, Duties, and ResponsibilitiesProduct Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear, compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks for our proprietary platforms, data offerings, and specialized ad-tech capabilities.Sales Enablement: Develop one-sheets, case studies, and talking points to equip sales and strategically position DSPolitical against competitors.Customer Insights & Objection Handling: Collaborate closely with client-facing teams to uncover client pain points and identify areas of confusion within our tech and data offerings, proactively developing messaging and collateral to preemptively address objections.Translating Complexity: Partner tightly with product, engineering, and data teams to deeply understand complex ad-tech capabilities and translate them into accessible, benefit-driven narratives for clients.Competitive Intelligence: Monitor the programmatic and ad-tech landscape to build competitive positioning that highlights our unique product differentiators against vertical-specific competitors.Product Adoption & Feedback: Work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure product messaging is consistent across all channels, while gathering market feedback from sales to help inform future product marketing projects.Partner & Ecosystem Marketing: Cultivate strategic relationships with key ad-tech and platform partners, developing a deep understanding of our joint capabilities to identify and execute high-impact co-marketing opportunities.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications & Skill RequirementBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience.3–5 years of professional experience in product marketing, advertising technology, or programmatic advertising.Strong commitment to mentorship and collaboration.Strong experience in creating product-specific sales collateral, feature narratives, and GTM materials.Proficiency in digital media platforms and advertising technology systems.Some project management experience.Proficiency in modern team collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Slack, Monday, Google Workspace).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.DSPolitical is proud to offer:The base salary is $70,000 - $80,000 annually depending upon factors including, but not limited to, experience, skill level, education and location.Open leave (paid time off)Paid Leave for new parentsHealth insurance (including dental and vision)Flex Spending PlanEmployee Assistance Program401K with company matchingStudent Loan Repayment ProgramProfessional development opportunitiesRewards and recognition programsMobile phone & internet reimbursement and much more!Office HoursThis position is based in Washington, DC however, we are open to remote work in other states. We work on a hybrid basis with many team members working entirely from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
