Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Iron Mountain, Michigan. This role involves supporting a busy surgical unit with responsibilities across pre-surgery, post-anesthesia care, and scrub duties. The position requires adaptability to a variety of surgical cases and collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 8-hour shifts beginning between 05:45 and 09:00, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association); minimum 2 years of experience with Operating Room specialty; valid license to submit.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PACU or ICU settings, scrub experience in the Operating Room, and familiarity with the Paragon charting system.
• Additional Information: Local candidates must reside within 80 miles of the facility. Candidates must have PACU or ICU experience as well as OR experience. Scrubbing is required; no charge nurse or house supervisor roles. Shifts include weekdays, weekends, and holiday coverage with a call response time of 30 minutes or less for STAT cases. Orientation is one week, with specific dress code of hospital-provided scrubs. Clinicians with prior work experience at the facility must have their last engagement ended at least six months before submission. All clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility.
