This role manages purchasing activities for non-production items, shipping and packaging materials, and aftermarket service tools while ensuring cost‑effective sourcing and supplier performance. Job Duties Source and purchase indirect goods and services for multiple locations, including packaging materials and aftermarket service tools Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to achieve cost savings and support business objectives Generate and manage purchase orders for products, services, and planned packaging requirementsPartner with internal teams during the implementation of Coupa and serve as a key system resource and certified administrator Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring all required approvals, authorizations, and safety requirements are met Coordinate with facilities teams regarding vendor access, deliveries, and hazardous material considerations Manage lease agreements for mobile equipment across several company locations Analyze purchasing activity and prepare monthly spend reports and related metrics Maintain strong supplier relationships while identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, Sales, or a related field 3–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or sourcing experience Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated history of achieving cost savings Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools Experience using SAP, LN, or similar ERP systems Knowledge of shop supplies, operational equipment, and indirect procurement practices Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sterling Engineering
