This role is an experienced professional with a strong background in software development. Your role Responsible for platform modernization, Grafana Cloud migration, operational excellence, production support readiness, and enterprise observability strategy across hybrid cloud environments. Lead observability strategy, architecture, and operational excellence initiatives. Mature the enterprise observability platform and lead migration from New Relic to Grafana Cloud at scale. Design observability standards for AWS and on-premises hybrid environments. Develop enterprise monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboarding, and alerting frameworks. Architect solutions leveraging Grafana Mimir, Loki, Tempo, IRM, and Grafana Cloud. Define instrumentation patterns and validated templates for infrastructure, applications, and distributed services. Your skills and experience Senior candidates with 10 plus years of relevant experience. Advanced Grafana & Observability Expertise – experience with traditional Grafana setups, plugins, alerting configurations, and native log/metric ingestion. Experience connecting Grafana to non-traditional/external data sources, business databases, and enterprise data warehouses (e.g., PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks). Expertise in building complex, interactive dashboards leveraging variables, transformations, and drill-down links to connect macro KPIs to micro-transactional data. Data Modeling: Strong ability to design data schemas, understand entity relationships, and model data specifically for time-series analytics and real-time reporting. Advanced SQL skills to query, aggregate, and manipulate fine-grained transactional data efficiently without degrading dashboard performance. Strong experience with AWS services that fuel analytics and observability (e.g., AWS Managed Grafana, Amazon Timestream, OpenSearch, Athena, S3, RDS, or Lambda). Understanding of AWS IAM, security protocols, and data governance for external data ingestion. Compensation The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082–$193,440. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
