Unit Notes
Radius: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted. Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote. 26-bed inpatient adult behavioral health department. Unit Psych RN - Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:06. Required certifications (ie BLS, CPI, AVADE, etc...) BLS - Patient Populations/Common diagnoses 55+ geri psych, do accept dementia as a primary diagnosis, bipolar is second highest. Do you use physical restraints on this unit? Have a seclusion room, but not staffed to take 1:1 at this time. Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? N/A. Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 12 hour shifts. Weekend Requirements: At least every third weekend. Holiday Requirements: Yes.
