We’re hiring a “mini-COO” to help build the manufacturing backbone of AI.
Not a traditional Chief of Staff.
Not a coordinator.
A builder.
THEMA is launching Europe’s first pure-play photonics foundry—the platform for the optical chips powering AI data centers, hyperscale networks, and next-gen compute.
This isn’t a slide deck:
- Operational cleanroom
- 40+ years of semiconductor heritage
- Partnership with IMEC
- Anchor customer already in motion
We’re looking for a Head of Growth & Operations / Chief of Staff to sit next to the CEO and turn momentum into scale.
You’ll own:
→ GTM + early revenue motion
→ Strategic partnerships (EU + hyperscale)
→ Recruiting + company build
→ Fundraising support + investor narrative
→ Internal ops + execution cadence
One week you’re helping close a customer.
The next you’re solving a hiring bottleneck or driving a board narrative.

San Francisco-based, with regular time in Belgium.
