Quick Facts Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855 Start Date: 07/30/2026 End Date: Ongoing (with scheduled blocks) Shift: Typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday; occasional night and weekend call Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: Michigan medical license (or eligible), Board Certification in Internal Medicine Experience: Minimum 2 years in Hematology/Oncology Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements Robust support from a dedicated team and resources like genetic counseling, tumor board, and research department What You’ll Do Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology consults and follow-ups Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including genetic counselors and research staff Participate in tumor board meetings and patient care planning Manage an average of 10-15 outpatient patients daily Support inpatient consultations as needed, with inpatient rounding handled by APPs Utilize EMR (ONCO EMR) for documentation and care coordination Contribute to a collegial, supportive practice environment focused on excellent patient care What You Need Medical license in Michigan (or eligible) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine At least 2 years of Hematology/Oncology experience Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, outpatient setting About the Assignment Join a well-established, patient-centered practice in Marquette, MI, sharing space with radiation oncology and benefiting from strong primary care support.
