Position Equipment Maintenance Technician Location Ohio Duration Long Term Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to provide hands-on support for packaging, inspection, and serialization equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role will focus on equipment troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and reliability while following GMP, FDA, and site requirements. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment. Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes. Support equipment adjustments, changeovers, upgrades, and modifications. Maintain and troubleshoot vision inspection and serialization equipment. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, faults, and alarms. Perform maintenance activities according to GMP, FDA, and site SOP requirements. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and corrective actions. Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support manufacturing operations. Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production uptime and reliability. Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing or packaging environments. Experience troubleshooting and repairing packaging equipment such as cartoners, labelers, conveyors, printers, and inspection systems. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with PLC-controlled equipment. Knowledge of vision inspection and serialization systems such as Cognex and Systech. Experience with preventive maintenance, equipment breakdowns, and changeovers. Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and regulated manufacturing requirements. Ability to read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation. Good documentation and Microsoft Office skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
