Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.Position OverviewAs a Principal Hardware Design Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include:Develop state-of-the-art Network Visibility Hardware products and help guide the design of the next generations of productAuthor Schematics and manage PCB layout resourcesSupport sustaining efforts and implement changes to improve yieldsParticipate in a cross-functional team environment including Mechanical, RTL, and Software, and manufacturingQualificationsMost importantly, you need to be a passionate Principal Hardware Design Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Principal Hardware Design Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years relevant experienceExperience in product development from concept to productionKnowledge of high-speed signal integrity concepts and practicesExperience with EMC design techniques and solving EMC non-compliance issuesProficient with lab equipment and capturing complex measurementsExperience with high performance processors and embedded platformsCompetent with Cadence tools: OrCad/Concept, AllegroKnowledge of PCB Stackup's, and understanding of materialsWe understand that even if you are a seasoned Principal Hardware Design Engineer you may not have all the skills listed here.Compensation: Based on Experience.
