The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Required APSHO Cancer Therapy Prescribing Course Certificate OR AOCNP Certification required to prescribe chemotherapy biotherapy Graduate from Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of New Jersey Masters prepared in Nursing from an accredited program BLS and ACLS certified 1 to 2 years heme malignancy experience preferred CDS and DEA Scheduling Requirements Outpatient Role Full Time 40 Hours 10 hr shifts Essential Functions Performs comprehensive initial and episodic health assessments in order to identify existing or potential health problems Initiates and implements individualized nursing and medical plan of care in collaboration with members of multidisciplinary team Initiates appropriate diagnostic, therapeutic, medical and nursing actions in conjunction with physician Provides follow up care including, acute and routine examinations Assesses progress, identify problems, initiate preventive measures, recognizes emergent problems and initiates proper care in collaboration with physicians Monitors and adjusts patients medication according to protocol or medical plan of care including adequate pain control Benefits and Perks: At RWJBarnabasHealth, our market-competitive Total Rewards package provides comprehensive benefits and resources to support our employees’ physical, emotional, social, and financial health.
