Adult Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) - Full Time with Sign-On Bonus - Days7a - 7p or Nights 7p

We are looking for a Respiratory Therapist (RT-CRT) to deliver respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support services to patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric, both in‑patients and out‑patients. Responsibilities Set up and operate RT‑CRT equipment, monitors, and wean oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation. Draw, analyze, and report arterial blood gases and EKGs. Deliver intermittent therapy and assist with changing artificial airways. Provide services as ordered by a physician and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures following policy and procedure. Review and document all clinical information for each patient. Educate patients and colleagues on procedures and treatment plans. Perform diagnostic procedures and provide care appropriate to the patient’s age and health status. Adapt communication and behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and obtaining permissions as needed. Remain knowledgeable of current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility. Qualifications Current license as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice. Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Basic Life Support (BLS) credential from the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire. Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and relevant software packages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally. Strong interpersonal skills and manual dexterity for data entry and retrieval of information. Education Associate’s Degree (required). Bachelor’s Degree (preferred). Work Experience None required. Physical and Environmental Demands Work may involve heavy lifting, repetitive motions, and prolonged standing or sitting. The role requires stooping, bending, reaching, and grabbing with arms and hands. Employees may need to work a flexible schedule (24/7, weekend, holiday, on‑call availability) and may be exposed to blood, body fluids, tissues, hazardous medications, and hazardous waste. Occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases is present. There is a requirement to use mechanical lifting devices or team lifts whenever possible.
