PQC is currently accepting applications for experienced, civilian Administrative Service Support Specialist to work onsite at Montlake Laboratory (Seattle, Washington).

The Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC) studies living marine resources (e.g., salmon, groundfish, and killer whales). To support this mission operation management has a need for administrative service support:

Duty Hours
Monday to Friday
6AM to 6PM

Hourly Rate
$30.55 + $5.09

Qualifications:

Advanced knowledge of office policies and procedures.

Articulate, strong communications skills.

Attention to detail.

Meticulous data entry.

Work independently.

Working knowledge of Google Suite (Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Gmail).

Ability to lift and transport 30 pounds.

Maintain a system that ensures follow-up of correspondence and data calls; monitoring the status of actions and providing additional information when necessary.

Maintaining confidentiality on actions and pending activities discussed or in process.

Minimum /General Experience
Requires an Associates degree or minimum three (3) years of relevant experience and training.

Additional Preferred Qualifications
- E2 Travel System experience
- C-Cure System experience

Responsibilities :

Visitor Center
First Point of contact for the Visitor Center
Process visitors
Assist personnel with site access
Monitor cameras/Monitoring station for visitors, vendors, delivery drivers for site access

Motor Pool (government vehicles)
Motor pool administrative duties (data entry, organization, etc.)
Schedule services/repairs for vehicles
Assist personnel with vehicle reservations

Shipping and Receiving (Mailroom)
Receive mail and packages (possible lifting restrictions/Hazmat)
Process packages using internal system
Sort mail
Assist personnel with outgoing packages by weighing, measuring, and creating labels using company accounts (UPS, FedEx, Pitney Bowes)

Travel
Make reservations and process Travel Authorizations/Vouchers for personnel
Troubleshoot issues with travel for personnel

Admin
Maintain office supplies for center
Create and replace office signs
