Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients and visitors.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:A minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
