Senior Buyer

Title: Sr. Buyer
Location: Milpitas, CA
Contract 12+ Months
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end to end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Develop project schedules, dashboards, and reports using advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, data modeling).
- Manage SAP project workflows, material requests, and procurement processes.
- Track risks, dependencies, and project milestones, ensuring timely delivery.
- Support cost analysis, vendor coordination, and BOM related tasks.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with medical device standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 7 years of project management experience (preferably in manufacturing).
- Expert level Excel skills VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, Pivot Tables, Macros.
- Hands on experience with SAP (MM/PP/Project Systems).
- Working knowledge of mechanical domain concepts or product development processes.
- Experience managing procurement projects (vendor coordination, material planning).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or equivalent certification.
- Experience in medical devices or regulated industries (ISO 13485, FDA standards).
- Familiarity with MS Project or other PM tools.
