SQL Developer

Role Description

This individual contributor position is responsible for in-depth development of business analytics solutions. This role includes:

• Working in collaboration with business stakeholders, other developers, engineers, and analysts to develop data-driven solutions.
• Gathering requirements, preparing project plans and documentation.
• Combining data from multiple sources and creating new datasets to support downstream reports and analytics.
• Managing customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of analytics experience with advanced SQL programming ability in a data warehouse or big data analytics environment (Stored procedures, SQL functions, CTE’s, nested queries, etc).
• Experience developing datasets, tables, and views to support downstream reporting/analytics.
• Well-versed in data modeling concepts (dimensional/fact, cardinality, normalization, etc).
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.
• Experience creating/maintaining SSRS reports.
• Healthcare industry experience, including familiarity with healthcare data, reporting, or analytics environments.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based data solutions.
• Located to be in Eastern or Central time zone in USA.

Requirements

• Experience managing and deploying code with Github.
• Experience conducting analysis and working with healthcare claims and services data.
• Experience with Python.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
