System Architect

Overview Direct message the job poster from Evergreen. Responsibilities Architect and design scalable, modular, and secure systems using modern design patterns. Define integration points for AI components, databases, and external services. Produce architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and security models. Guide engineering teams in implementing the architecture consistently. Conduct architecture reviews and performance assessments. Ensure compliance with enterprise-grade security, data governance, and performance requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience (8+ years building distributed systems). Master's in CS/Software Engineering/Information Systems preferred. 8+ years of experience in software architecture for large-scale distributed systems. Strong background in microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred experience with hybrid cloud and multi-region deployments. Proven track record of designing systems for security, scalability, and fault tolerance. Architecture certifications are a plus – such as TOGAF and Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or similar). Preferred familiarity with AI agent orchestration frameworks (Semantic Kernel, Autogen).
